Introductions to some of the applications of psychology.

Psychology is a vast realm. This section of the site is designed to give you an introduction to some of the key themes of applying psychology to real-life situations. Different schools of psychology offer sometimes competing explanations for events and phenomena we encounter, and the articles in this section will provide links and suggestions for further reading where necessary.

Read on and enjoy. Remeber, if you can't locate what you're looking for, drop me an email and I'll see what I can do to help!

This section has been written to provide information on particular interventions/approaches and any connected research, not as recommendations for use. The outcome of any approach will depend on the needs of the individual, which vary greatly, and the appropriate application of the intervention. An intervention that may help one individual may not be effective for another. It would therefore not be appropriate for me to recommend any one particular practice or therapy.
